Below are a few of the most popular and where to score nearby parking:

City Guides – this free tour is operated by a non-profit organization dedicated to “sharing the fun of discovering San Francisco.” This group offers dozens of tours and maintains a detailed schedule. Their tour of Nob Hill looks especially fun, and Nob Hill is a great neighborhood really get a feel for San Francisco. The best place to park for this tour is: Nob Hill Garage at 875 California Street, just across the street for the starting location of the tour.

Dylan’s Tours – this group provides tours of they city by bus or bike and have a great reputation. To see as much as possible without breaking a sweat, check out their Famous 6-Hour Tour. You’ll go all over the city and even spend an hour in Muir Woods. There are two pickup and drop-off locations for the tour:

  1. Fisherman’s Wharf at 1300 Columbus Avenue – The Anchorage Square Garage at 500 Beach St. is a great place for this stop. If the lot is full, or you miss the entrance, no problem, there are plenty of garages in this area to park during your tour.
  2. Union Square at 427 Post Street – The Garage at 433 Mason St. is only .1 miles from this spot with easy access and a great location to other attractions in Union Square.
